Techno Tales: Crying at Parties (Garbicz Rock Story)
Oh what a day it was.
I was having a trippy afternoon and made my way to Wiese for Stavroz's set. I recall the dance floor being a bit packed so I roamed around the outside area.
The music was incredible. The vibes redefined my imagination of what heaven can be. Pure happiness. I could feel the energy in the air. Everyone was glowing.
As I'm dancing, I notice this lovely crew hanging out 'picnic style.' The 2 guys were juggling or blowing bubbles or some shit.
I can't remember WHAT they were doing - that's not important. What's important is that they were doing SOMETHING. Something that allowed me to express interest. To SEND some energy their way. They certainly appeared open to RECEIVE.
I dance over to them with a smile stuck on my face and make welcoming eye contact. Boom, immediately adopted into the family.
I love these moments.
Now I’m chillin with this group from Israel. The lady standing in this photo had some next level healing energy about her. I felt safe with them. Of course I felt safe at the festival - I mean a deeper level of safe. Trust was felt from before I could even think about it.
We're hanging out and one of the women pulls out a medium sized stone & a permanent marker. She says they're going to write something on the stone they'd like to leave in the sacred forests of Garbicz.
They ask me if I want to write something. I was tripping and a bit confused. My initial response was to deny, but I sat with it for a moment.
I thought deeply and it didn't take long before I felt my Mother's love. A warm, scary feeling that feels so good and hurts so much at the same time.
Surrender.
No resistance.
Full presence in the energy.
Tears pouring down my face, full body cry.
This was a moment.
I needed that cry & I didn't even know it. The safety I felt with this group opened space for me to feel supported. To feel LOVED. This allowed me to go down the dark hallway without fear.
I wrote NC on the rock and told my story to the two lovely women as they intently listened & provided just the right amount of support.
Absolutely perfect.
I'll never forget this moment.
Life changing experiences with life changing humans.
